It's that time of year when we along with many other New England Golf Courses donate rounds to support turfgrass research projects at many universities. We study new varieties of grass, new management techniques and watering programs. All geared toward better environmental practices and sustainability of golf courses. We look for more stress tolerant turfgrasses to get good quality turf with less inputs of water, pesticides and fertilizer.
